News from GMSA
Date
-- July 2009 Hope you are
enjoying your summer and a break from the school schedule! Here in South
Africa, the weather has turned cool, but still beautiful and sunny many
days. We spend many of these evenings huddled around the fireplace as a
family. Just wanted to catch you all up on the latest happenings here at
GMSA... |

Date --
June 2009 Let me
introduce you to a young man by the name of Danny. He is eighteen years
old and he became part of our church about a year ago. Danny lives with
his grandma for the last year or so after his other grandma passed away
about a year ago. |
 Date
-- April 2009 Ps. Marshall
Geswint --
Storehouse youth camp started
6th April till 8th April. This was the best camp for me ever in the last fifteen
years of being involved with young people. We went to the camp without any theme
or scripture as a focus point which is not normal to do, since we decided to be
under the open heaven and allow God to lead us into His presence without any
human effort from our side. Wow God did not disappoint us in this regard and we
truly ate the fruit of being completely dependant upon His grace... |

March

| January 2009
Wow, it's 2009, can you believe it?
Sometimes we just need to stop and think about where we are at on the
the calendar in time and history! We're coming to end of a really
extraordinary decade. Its been quite a bit different than a lot of us
expected that's for sure! The world hasn't come to an end but it's sure
in upheaval. |

 What
is change? -- October 2008 Liberty Allen --I was asked that
question this week by my youth pastor/ brother. When he said it, I
thought I knew exactly what change was, but the more I thought about it,
the less and less I realized knew. What is change? What is change to me?
But more importantly, what is change to God? |

-- October 2008 Ps. Jody --
These are
the words that continually go through my mind in these weeks. There is
much uncertainty in the air, from the resignation of the President of
South Africa, to the Economic Crisis in America. I am so thankful that
we can fall upon the Rock during these times, and that we are part of an
unshakeable Kingdom. Know that here at Generational Ministries South
Africa, our thoughts and prayers are turned toward you as our family and
our friends. |

January, 2005 to assist us in planting Storehouse Africa
Generational Church... |
Let
me introduce you to Marshall and Martha. -- Marshall is 31,
Martha is 26. They are a lovely young couple with plans to marry 23 of
September. They have been engaged for well over 1 1/2 years now. They
are both awesome leaders in our church... |
AIDS/HIV Newsletter
from Pastor Dallas
Letter 03 -- The ‘official’ percentage of the
population of SA that is said to be HIV positive is 1 in 3 people. That
is terribly high, but the problem with this statistic is that it is very
difficult to gauge who all is infected. Among indigenous South Africans
there is a tremendous stigma attached to the disease, those who are
found out to be infected are typically ostracized and rejected by family
and community! ... |
AIDS/HIV Newsletter
from Pastor Dallas
--
Letter 02 --
An American diagnosed with HIV
can still be strong in 10-20 years. An African diagnosed with HIV will be dead
in 2-5 years! At least 42 million people worldwide are HIV positive.
At a minimum 72% of them live in Sub Saharan Africa. That’s over
30 million people right now this moment who will die in less than 5
years.
AIDS/HIV Newsletter
from Pastor Dallas

Letter 01 --
In the
nation of South Africa right now, as you read this letter, it is
literally the worst of times the world has ever seen. I am speaking of
the exploding pandemic of HIV/AIDS that is covering the southern half of
Africa. The United Nations has declared it to be,
‘THE WORST HUMAN
CATASTROPHE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD’!
