June 2008 Ps. Jody Dear, dear family and friends, Winter has arrived here in South Africa just as Summer has arrived for most of you. So as all of you are very busy with your families home from school, planting your gardens, mowing your grass....I find myself in a quieter time mostly focused on just trying to keep everyone warm. And I find myself thinking of all of you a lot. Missing seeing your faces, missing having coffee with you, visiting, laughing, catching up............but also finding myself very grateful for each one of you. Even though we do not communicate with one another often, I still feel your love and your prayers. That is really what I wanted to say, God is so good, and I am so grateful to Him for you. For those of you who are able to support our ministry on a monthly basis, I am also deeply grateful. Each month, Oradee sends me your names with your gifts, and as I look through them, I always think, “Amazing, God you are, they are, amazing”. From the couple who has sent $100 faithfully every month for over five years, to many of our family members who give generously and faithfully, to our dear friends, to the churches, not so big in number, but very big in faithfulness and generosity, and even to those of you we don't know so well, but you give generously and faithfully-THANK YOU! May God RICHLY reward and bless you. You are blessing us and you are blessing Africa. I hope each one of you get the opportunity someday to experience that which you are pouring into here in SA. It is a beautiful thing God is doing as He is building the Storehouse church into a family. He is bringing healing to many broken lives. He is delivering people from bondages. He is restoring hope and identity. What a great privilege to be a part of His work. And each one of you are. I also wanted to let you know two NEW, EXCITING things we are doing as a ministry. Not so new, but our EGIVING is completely in place for those of you who would like to give electronically to GMSA. It is a secure, convenient way to give, and it really helps us as a ministry to know we have a solid monthly budget we can work from, thereby enabling us to do all God has called us to here in South Africa, and not having to worry about whether or not we are going to be able to meet the basic bills.
