Hello everybody!
Hope you are enjoying your
summer and a break from the school schedule!
Here in South Africa, the weather has turned cool, but still beautiful
and sunny many days. We spend many of these evenings huddled around the
fireplace as a family.
Just wanted to catch you all up on the latest happenings here at GMSA.
On June 7, we had the privilege of ordaining Mark and Nadine Booysen for
pastoral work here in Storehouse church and the community. Mark has been
a part of our GMSA family since 2003, so it was with great joy that we,
together with Apostle Steve, Pastors Leon and Marshall affirmed the
anointing and call of God on his and Nadine’s lives. Mark knows nearly
everyone in Humansdorp and is highly favored in the community, we are
blessed to have him as a member of the ministry team.
Our Nation Builders
school consisting of 13 students continues to press full steam ahead
under the direct leadership of Apostle Steve. What a blessing it has
been to have these young people on the farm every day seeking God and
searching out His will for their lives. They are an inspiration to us
all. Personally it is a dream come true for me to have my two oldest,
Natalie and Joe as a part of this first class. God is doing great things
in their lives and building strong foundations for their futures.
The NB’s are ministering at the high school every Friday for the whole
day ending with the evening Youth Service at the High School. Please
continue to pray for this ministry as many youths’ lives, as well as
their families, are being touched in a new way by the Presence and Word
of God.
This past weekend, they also ministered, along with Apostle Steve, at
the Assembly of God conference in Uitenhage to several hundred youth and
leaders. God moved powerfully and they now have many more invites.
We are so looking forward to a visit from Peter Nicholes from Australia.
He will be bringing a small team with him the first week in August. They
will be ministering to the Church, the Nation Builders, and in the high
school. We feel this will be a converging time in the Spirit as God
continues to pour out from His Open Heaven over South Africa.
In the middle of August(15th and 16th), Dallas and Apostle will be
celebrating their 50th and 60th birthdays, respectively. WOW!!!! I am
sure they would love to hear from any of you well-wishers out there!
Also, don’t forget, we will be celebrating our 7th anniversary as a
ministry here in South Africa on November 1st!!! It’s not too late to
get your tickets and let us know you can join us, we would love it!!!
Last of all, PLEASE be praying for us(the Sphars) as we turn in our
Permanent Residence applications(again!) this week. We all witnessed a
great miracle as Pastor Juan from Mexico got his USA residency last
month so we know you are all anointed to pray our residency through here
also. Thanks and we will let you know as soon as we have received it.
We love and miss you all and wish you all could come see us. May you be
blessed abundantly, beyond all that you could ask or think! May He
release breakthroughs to you in every area that you need! May He be your
Rock in shaky times! May He fill you afresh and anew with His Presence!
